The Elbow
The elbow joint is designed as a rotating hinge. This hinge consists of the upper arm, ulna, and radius, and its anatomy is complex. Diseases of or injuries to this joint are considered challenging for both the patient and the treating physician. In the etzelclinic, we employ every modern imaging technique available (ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, scintigraphy, etc.). Any further investigation that may be required (neurology, rheumatology, pain management, etc.) is performed in cooperation with a network of specialists. We are able to perform any necessary operation using the entire portfolio of modern elbow surgery technology, including both minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and open orthopedic trauma surgery on the elbow.
